Terms of service

These terms cover Star Elements Games at games.starelements.ai (the "Service"), operated by Star Elements. By creating a host account or joining a game you agree to them. Hosts must be 18 or older.

1. Accounts and plans

Hosts get a Free Starter plan. Paid plans (Pro, Elite) are billed monthly or annually through Stripe, renew automatically, and can be cancelled any time to stop at the end of the period. Player caps, session caps and other limits per plan are shown on the pricing page and may be changed with notice. Star Elements teachers and tutors host free at the cap of their own Star Elements plan.

2. Your content

You keep ownership of what you create. You grant Star Elements a licence to store, display and transmit it to run the Service. You must follow the Content Policy: everyone-friendly or kid-friendly content only, and only media you own or have the right to use. You indemnify Star Elements against claims arising from your content. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms, following the escalation steps in the Content Policy.

3. Players and their data

For games you host, you are the controller of your players' data and Star Elements processes it on your behalf under the Privacy Policy and, for organisations, our Data Processing Addendum (available on request). You may only send marketing to players who ticked the consent box when they joined. You must not collect personal information from children under 13; the Service enforces this by taking a name only in kids-rated games.

4. Curated packs and AI builder

Packs published by Star Elements are ours and licensed to you for use in the Service. The AI builder produces drafts you must review; facts it flags need checking before hosting. AI usage is limited by a monthly wallet per plan.

5. Availability and liability

The Service is provided as is. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the previous 12 months.

6. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes are announced by email and require re-acceptance in the host app. Contact: support@starelements.net.
